DISCLAIMER: This map is not meant to offend any race, creed, or religion. It is simply the representation of a world based off a mixture of our modern world and the webcomic 2kinds (hence, Modernkinds). In both the comic and the fanfic this map is based off, Humans are the big oppressors, which combined with a bit of tricky geographic finagling (for one, Trace needs to be a white South African for the fic to work) means that those of European descent are simply the logical choice for Human representation while the other races are represented by various races of Kiedran and Basitin, just like in the original work (at least, I assume that's why we never see anybody of Asian or African descent in the comic. Seriously, am I the only one who's noticed that?)

The majority race in each region of the Modernkinds world.
White - Human
Gray - Basitin
Red - Kiedran Fox
Brown - Kiedran Wolf
Orange - Kiedran Tiger
With their domination of both the Chinese and Indian mainland, Kiedran Wolves are the vast majority on this planet (though the existence of the Japanese Alliance and the Republic of Hyperabad proves that they don’t all get along). Furthermore, Chinese colonialism in occupied Russia has spread Kiedran Wolf populations northward. By contrast, the Japanese Alliance has shown all but complete disinterest in the affairs of the occupied Alaskan territories, only acknowledging their existence when it comes time to negotiate with local tribes for the construction of new oil pipelines.
The European humans are the most widely-spread. Their colonialism in the 18th century spread their populations across just about every continent, intermixing with native Kiedran and Basitin populations to produce numerous hybrid species. Today, due to the sheer volume of centuries of interbreeding, it is hard to tell if the races still exist in their “purest” states, and so the question becomes if races still exist in the Modernkinds world (possible commentary on our own world? Heaven forbid!)
And yes, the big, mean humans are white people. Look, I'm not for white guilt, but guys: we whiteys have done some serious sh!t.

So the non-white are dead and the remaining whites are evil. Sort of racist and a dream for white racists. Whiteys from North Europe, Eastern Europe didn't do any serious s#!t they never oppressed anyone, they were the ones oppressed.
